  4. About the scheme
  5. ----------------
  6. The supported Shareware scheme was started by Joe Connor in 1993 to 
  7. encourage authors to produce and support English language versions of 
  8. their software AND to encourage UK users to register 'foreign' software. 
  9. Recently the scheme was re-launched as InterActive. With currently over 
  10. 1000 registrations the scheme has established the proven benefits of local 
  11. support, which include:

  13. - Key to remove features reserved for registered users available
  14. - Local telephone, post and Email support
  15. - Free update service
  16. - No hassle handling foreign currency
  17. - Labelled Master disk and registration letter
  18. - ST-Guide on-line hypertext help (some software)
  19. - Other software (dependent on disk space)
  20.  
  21. Registration fees are set to cover the currency handling, stationary, 
  22. media and postage costs incurred in mailing out master disks and providing 
  23. support.
  24. Although primarily a UK support scheme everyone is welcome to register via 
  25. InterActive as an alternative to registering directly with the author/s.

  63. 1)  Calculate the total amount for the software you wish to register
  64. 2)  Make a cheque payable to InterActive for the required amount
  65. 3)  Be sure your name and address is included and *legible*!

  81. Add £1 to your order total to cover postage and send:
  82. - A cheque payable *in Sterling* drawn on a *UK* bank address
  83. - A Eurocheque
  84. - An international Post Office Girocheque payable *in Sterling*
  85. - Cash! Sterling, Dollars and DMs are all fine

  89. New releases are highlighted in the Shareware column of ST Applications 
  90. and featured in the Shareware pages of Atari World. Subscription details 
  91. for either magazine available on request.

  96. postage and an unlabelled unformatted double sided floppy disk. Please

  104. Due to the number of people now taking advantage of the service I can't 
  105. always reply as quickly as I'd like to. Often I'm waiting for a new 
  106. version or may be too busy earning a living so please be patient!

  146. because minor updates to the English language version are sometimes made 
  147. without changing the version number hensa and 42BBS are the places to go
